December 18 - Web Conference on Patient-Clinician Communication Using Health IT- Free CE

Join health IT experts from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) on Tuesday, December 18, from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. EST to learn about models to improve communication between patients and clinicians. This free Web conference will help you identify ways in which health IT can be used to support the delivery of patient-centered care by promoting more effective communication within the clinical encounter. The expert panel, which includes Elizabeth Hahn, M.A., William Adams, M.D. and Michael Wolf M.D., M.P.H., will present projects that address communication interventions intended to increase preventive care, cancer survivorship planning, and appropriate medication management. Participants will earn 1.5 contact credit hours for their participation if they attended the entire Web conference. Participants must complete an online evaluation in order to obtain a CE certificate. A link to the online evaluation system will be sent to participants who attend the Web Conference within 48 hours after the event.
